Attempt #2
Another failure. During track, we did a time trial which was the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, I ran a 5:02. obviously not what I wanted, but it's okay. With time running out to complete the project, I'm beginning to worry that I won't be able to reach my goal. I knew it was lofty going into it, but I thought I had a better chance of breaking it. If I don't meet my goal, I know that I've gotten into much better fitness throughout my journey and will be striving to that mark during the outdoor track season. Also, during this process, I was rejected from NBNI, and then had no competition during my time trials, also every time I've ran, It's been very windy which doesn't help at all.
I chose agency and community because I worked hard, but I had my teammates running with me.

Attempt #1
Mile Time Trial #1 was a failure. But at the end of the day, failure is inevitable and is one of the stepping stones to success. So I’ll continue training for a few more days, and try again. I will repeat this process until I reach my goal of 4:55.
More about today’s run, it was super windy, and kept blowing my shirt all over the place so I ditched the shirt which ended up being fine because it was pretty warm out. Also, I was cramping up throughout the run which obviously isn’t good, but that just means that with better conditions, success is in reach. Luke helped me time the project.
I chose Agency and community because I really had to push myself today during the run, but I didn’t give up, and finished through the end, and Luke helped me time.
Skills

200's with luke
We ran some 200's at goal race pace. We were using different spikes trying to find the right ones to use for the time trials. I chose community because we worked together to get ready for the end of our pip.

Long Run with Luke
Since Luke and I are both doing projects related to running, and we live pretty close together, we decided to run together for parts of our PIP. We went a total of 8 miles in around an hour and 20 minutes. we weren't going for speed, just length. We had some nice conversations on the run including talking about track this year. And I chose community because I worked with Luke.

During this activity I worked on negative splitting across 200m. This is because the indoor track will be 200m. I also worked on negative splitting, so I can hawk down some people at the race. However, I was declined from the race. I had missed the qualifying time by .34 of a second. This means I won't have any competition for the race but I will be running at the track by myself. This will make it much harder to reach my goal of 4:55, but I'm still gonna try.

8x400 at 4:59 pace
Felt surprisingly good. I’m in a really good spot for NBNI. Training is going well and I’m eating right too. Hopefully I can keep this up.
I chose agency because I worked really hard by myself and held myself to a high standard while training.

First tough one on the training plan. Feeling good for being out of shape.
It went really well considering it's the first hard workout of the training plan. I'm not a huge treadmill guy, but I didn't have the time to go to the track. I chose agency because I worked hard and held myself to a high standard.
