- Mrs. Junker
Mrs. Junker helped me throughout the project by teaching me about all of the parts of the project. If I needed help, I asked her and she let me know what to do. She also gave me feedback throughout the whole time.
- Luke Thompson
Luke helped me time my mile and also ran with me on multiple occasions since he is doing a similar project.
- My Parents/Siblings
They helped me because my parents drive me to run, and they always support me, and my siblings came to run with me once.

Nolan O'Connor
I am a 14 year old 8th grader here at Portland Middle school. I run cross country and track and I play basketball. I would say that i'm a good student who achieves highly and gets good grades.

Final Project
Hi my name is Nolan O’Connor and i’ve been working on improving my mile PR to 4:55. Before starting, my best time was 5:05, you can actually see it on the school records board outside of the gym. But I want to break 5 and even better, go 5 seconds under.
