Project Overview

I have always been intrested in drawing, but I have not have many ideas of things I wanted to draw. For my project, I decided to draw scenery and learn about different textures and ways to color. I used a photo from the end of my street that thought had a good range of colors and looked good. I believe that this project helped me become a better artist.

Collaboration

I have collaberated with many people throughout this project. I talked to my mom about how I could design the trees in the background. I expeiments with different ways to draw the trees and ended up landing on ones that I liked the most. My friends also helped me by giving me feedback on my work. They gave me inspiration and new ideas to try out.

Luke Kirsche

My name is Luke and I am a student at Portland Middle School. I enjoy running and creating new things. This was one inspiration to base my PIP on drawing. I am also responisble and a good worker. I love to work with other people communicate. Hearing other ideas and comhbineing them with mine is a great way to make sure work is done well. Although I can be frustrated with people who don't try to help, I have a lot of good ideas and fun while working with those who do care.

Final Project

My PIP project took lots of time to get the details right on my drawings. I do wish that I would have been able to have drawn more pictures, but the ones I did took longer than I had initially expected them to. I also wish I could have found a way to distinguish the leaves instead of making them look messy. I am proud though of how I was able to translate the photo into a drawing. I got the proportions right for what i had and learned to blend colors better. The variety of colors allowed for the drawing to look more accurate to the photo. Overall, I am proud of how my drawings turned out and how I handled the project.
