Hi, my name is Jack Hallinean. For my Personal Interest Project, I've decided to rebuild a 1960s-1970s VW Beetle engine. I will be learning about the different parts of an engine and how to fix them. I will be talking with my dad to learn about what to do. We will buy the engine and parts to do this.

Collaboration
My dad really helped me throughout this project. He has a great knowledge about Beetle Engines and used to modify the one on his old car. He not only helped me with learning about the car, he also bought the engine, parts and tools. When my mom came up with the idea to rebuild a car engine, my dad loved it and jumped right into it. I would not have been able to do this if it wasn't for him.
